Founder Story
I’m Akshay, and HyperX Sport started with a simple feeling: extreme sports looked incredible - but they didn’t feel accessible. When I moved from India to Europe, I discovered skiing, snowboarding, surfing, and paragliding… and I also discovered how intimidating it can be as a beginner.
I was the guy standing at the edge, not sure if I belonged there. But every time I met the right people - supportive, patient, and fun - the fear turned into confidence. That’s the moment I realized it’s not about being “extreme”… it’s about having the right environment.
In February 2022, we ran our first ski event. The feedback was the turning point - it made me realize this wasn’t just an event, it could become a community.
